Thing 13 edit a wiki
Thing 12 - Read about Wikis
A wiki is a website that uses wiki software, allowing the easy creation and editing of any number of interlinked Web pages, using a simplified markup language or a WYSIWYG text editor, within the browser.[1][2] Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites, to power community websites, for personal note taking, in corporate intranets, and in knowledge management systems.
Knowledge already known but reinforced! ok.
These are really useful tools.

Hello Scott,
I love what you have done with your blog - some points are really interesting
sharnI posted this on Scott Writer blog spot. Like other things - I do comment on blogs & have for years.
Thing 05 – Subscribe to blogs
Thing 04 – Create an RSS reader account
I have also subscribed to feeds from Major League baseball and lots of well-being sites. I also use it for IT development such as css, php, java, databases - sql etc..........
Thing 03 – Create a blog & register it
- Setup a blog for yourself. Be sure to keep a record of your username and password – you’ll need these every time you log into Blogger to write a new post.
- Add an entry to your blog about how you found the ‘extend your browser’ task.
Thing 02 – Extend your browser

Install 3 search plugins and 2 add-ons to your browser.:
I have been using search plugins and add-ons for years, but I did find this video interesting.
I am a huge Firefox fan & use is much friendlier when it comes to the number and variety of add-ons available.
The Firefox add-ons site will automatically detect which version you’re using and let you know if there’s a problem with a particular add-on.
I knew most of this already but it was an ok exercise to do.Tuesday, March 17, 2009
